Jake's first sleepover!

Today Dan & I spent quality time with Jacob in the morning and then headed to Deerfield. We had lunch at Potbelly's and then went to Whole Foods to get food for our date night - Jake was going to have his first sleepover with Grandma & Grandpa!

Danielle came over in the evening and took some Christmas pictures for our Christmas card. She did a great job!

After that, we packed Jake up and brought him over to Grandma & Grandpa Furrows. They agreed to keep him overnight while we celebrated Dan's birthday!

We rented a movie (which Dan was really excited about - we hadn't been able to watch a movie from start to finish in the past 3 months!) and had an 'indoor picnic' - bottle of white, bottle of red, 6 cheeses, 4 types of crackers, meats, 3 types of olives, bread, olive oil, chips, guacamole, and dessert! It was soooo good!

And after finishing our movie at 9pm, we even had time to pop in our wedding video and reminisce on the past couple years - how much has changed in our lives and how incredibly blessed we are. It was such a nice night, celebrating the birthday of my husband Dan.
